The Transylvania County Chapter does not have a blood collection facility open everyday, but relies on the Carolina Blood Region staff from Asheville to man our blood collection sites with mobile equipment. If you would like to register for a blood drive, please call the contact listed with that drive. If you have questions about eligibility to donate blood or for special procedures, please call 1-800-228-1496 and the specialists at the Carolina Blood Region will be glad to answer your questions. Drives are subject to change occasionally; call the chapter to make sure drives are still scheduled. If your facility or organization is interested in hosting a blood drive, please call us at the chapter for more information.
